With a diverse theological print and digital library you'll find thousands of resources to aid in your understanding and application of God's word.

Three Steps You Can Take to Get Started

At Shelby Center Church we believe there are three essential priorities that every Christian and church must be committed to:

Exalting the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we think, say, and do everywhere and at all times.
Evangelizing the Lost with both grace and credibility.
Edifying and Equipping Laborers for the work of the ministry in compelling community.

To enhance our ability to carry out the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) while living out the great commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) we promote the formation of bible-believing followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who graciously manifest and spread the gospel through a process called discipleship.

After the great tradition of that New Testament church in Antioch (Acts 11:19-30, 13:1-5) Shelby Center Church in Medina, NY equips believers by offering three levels of bible education / training (discipleship) that can be taken in steps:

Step 1. Big Picture Bible Study. This twenty-five-week series is a guided panoramic walk through the Old and New Testaments. Along the way, you'll learn about major events, stop at some key places, meet some important people, and gather basic information about how the Bible is put together. Once completed, you'll have a confident and basic understanding of the Bible.

Step 2. Know, Grow, Go series. 25 lessons pairing a newer believer with a mature believer to learn some basic beliefs and behaviors to assist your early formation as a Christian, understand the role of the local church, and better live the gospel.

Step 3. Antioch Bible Institute. This advanced form of discipleship is for those who wish to grow substantially in their understanding of the Bible. These courses also prepare those with an eye toward greater ministry involvement, leadership roles, and full-time ministry goals.

You can grow in your walk with Jesus by joining us for our Sunday Small (group studies) and table fellowship each Sunday morning @ 10am. We also invite you to our Wednesday night family style dinner, Bible study, and prayer each Wednesday at 6:00pm. You can learn more about this study and how to participate HERE.
